The Herbs
The tonic herbs are available in a number of different forms. We sell premium whole dried herbs, both individually and as specially formulated tonic teas, as well as 5:1 concentrated powdered extracts, liquid extracts, pills and capsules.
Individual Whole Herbs
We carry high quality herbs, much higher than the vast majority of what is available on the market. These quality herbs are free of preserving agents or hidden chemical stimulants (two common problems with imported chinese herbs), and are mostly sliced and dried in the field, rather than rehydrated later in a factory for slicing, thus better preserving their quality.
While some of the herbs can be consumed in their dried state, they are generally prepared as a decoction, often in combination with other tonic herbs. As a general rule, you can plan on making about one quart of tonic brew per ounce of dried herb. View the Individual Whole Herbs Catalog...
